    DOC submission.

     

    The Glenorchy Trails Trust has been working hard to make sure bikers get considered as future users of DOC land where appropriate.

    Today the QLDC announced a grant to the newly formed Head of the Lake Trails Trust of $20,000 for development of a Ten Year Strategic Plan.

     

    The Head of the Lake Trails Trust will work with QLDC's Economic Development Manager and GM Community Services who are working on the development of a district wide mountain biking strategy.

    Glenorchy's approximately 45 minutes drive from Queenstown on one of the most scenic roads in the world. Allow at least an hour for photo stops along the way. All other parts of the head of the lake area are reached via Glenorchy
